The commissioning of the 220 kV Zemiao substation will meet the power supply demand of Fuyao University of Science and Technology, and effectively enhance the power supply reliability of southern Minhou, especially in Nantong area and Qingkou Automobile Industrial Park, and provide a strong power supply guarantee for regional load growth

The total area of the substation building is 3,600 square meters
It is set up according to 2 distribution buildings of 110 kV and 220 kV
Two new 240 megavolt-ampere main transformers were built
4 times of 220 kV outlets, 8 times of 110 kV outlets
In the construction of the 220 thousand volt Zemiao power transmission and transformation project, the State Grid Minhou County Power Supply Company actively connected with governments at all levels and county departments, quickly promoted the pre-construction procedures, and obtained land allocation, work regulations and other documents on time. At the same time, actively coordinate with the Nantong Town Government and relevant village committees to successfully complete all aspects of work to ensure the rapid and orderly progress of the project.

In addition to the 220 thousand volt Zemiao power transmission and transformation project, the southeast 110 thousand volt power transmission and transformation project located in Dongtai Industrial Park, Qingkou Town, has also entered the final sprint stage. The project is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of May 2024, which will meet the new power supply needs of large users such as Lucky Aluminum and Lanjian in Dongtai Industrial Park, and further improve the power supply capacity and reliability of the entire Southeast Automobile City.
