Du Mu's "Spring in the South of the Yangtze River" is a seven-character quatrain describing the spring scenery in the south of the Yangtze River, which shows the bright spring light and the scenery of the buildings and rainy buildings.

The first sentence "A thousand miles of warblers cry green and reflect red", the sound of warblers, green grass and red flowers contrast with each other, vividly depicting the vitality of spring in the south of the Yangtze River.

In the second sentence "Shuicun Shanguo Wine Flag Wind", the wine flag is unfurled in the spring breeze, and the scenery of Shuicun Shanguo unfolds in front of you, full of life.

The last two sentences "480 temples in the Southern Dynasty, how many buildings are in the smoke and rain" is a description of the prosperity of Buddhism in the Southern Dynasties, and the buildings loom in the smoke and rain, adding a bit of mystery and hazy feeling.

Du Mu's "Spring in the South of the Yangtze River" not only depicts the beauty of the spring scenery in the south of the Yangtze River, but also contains the emotion of history and the hidden worries about the national fortunes of the late Tang Dynasty.
