At the construction site of the aging and renovation project of gas pipelines in the central urban area, the workers are welding the outdoor risers and household branch pipes to lay a good foundation for the next step of safe gas supply.
At the construction site, the workers and masters worked closely together and cooperated in the division of labor, processing prefabricated parts, wall drilling, pipeline welding and other processes in an orderly manner, and the yellow natural gas pipelines extended and connected on the façade of the residential buildings and led to the kitchens of residents. In order to ensure safe construction, the construction unit is strict in personnel, equipment and daily management, etc., effectively eliminating hidden dangers and creating a civilized and safe construction environment.
Yin Quanfeng, project leader: From the perspective of safety, we require workers to work with certificates, wear safety helmets, five-point safety belts, and be equipped with fire extinguishers, fire blankets and other safety measures on site. In terms of construction quality, we require the riser to be horizontal and vertical, 30 cm away from the window, polish the groove before welding, pay attention to the gap between the welds when welding, to ensure that the weld is completely penetrated, pay attention to the pipeline anti-corrosion after welding, polish the spatter welding slag, in order to prevent the pipeline from rusting, and finally paint the primer twice and the topcoat.
In accordance with the requirements of the new gas design code, this gas renovation includes the suspension of the original aluminum-plastic pipeline, the removal of the original outdoor meter components, the use of new steel pipelines overhead into the home, and the installation of smart gas meters, self-closing valves, stainless steel bellows, etc., indoors, etc., to further eliminate potential safety hazards of gas facilities, and greatly enhance the sense of gain, happiness and security of residents.
Resident Mr. Ji: The self-closing valve installed in this renovation is safe, and if there is an air leak, it will automatically close.
As an important part of the city's "lifeline", the safe operation of the gas pipeline network is related to the stable development of the city and the people's living and working in peace and contentment. Since last year, Shuocheng District has taken the renovation of the old gas pipeline network as an important measure to benefit people's livelihood, make up for shortcomings, and expand domestic demand, and has made great efforts to implement a gas transformation project with a total investment of 224 million yuan to build a solid gas safety defense line and ensure the safe and high-quality gas consumption of residents.
Wu Changyou, director of the Gas Supply and Heating Office of Shuocheng District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau: There are two main gas renovation projects in the central urban area of Shuocheng District, one is for the old community, this project involves 118 communities and 21,000 households, and the renovation content is mainly for the courtyard gas pipeline network and indoor gas facilities, which have been basically renovated last year. This year, mainly for the central urban gas pipeline renovation project, this project involves 370 communities, 153,000 residents, 35,000 households have been renovated, and it is expected that the transformation project will be completed by the end of this year, so that the people will be safer and more assured.
