On the morning of April 29, the county's drowning prevention and campus safety environment improvement work meeting was held in Kunbei Campus, the county's second experimental school.
Chang Jiaofeng, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Wen Weijie, deputy county magistrate and director of the County Public Security Bureau, and Ma Xiao, deputy commander of the county key project work headquarters, attended.
Chang Jiaofeng demanded that all towns (streets), departments and schools in the county earnestly improve their political positions, adhere to the concept of "people first, life first", overcome paralysis and laxity, and further implement the requirements of drowning prevention, pay close attention to the current problems and weak links, quickly check and fill in the gaps, and strictly prevent the occurrence of drowning accidents among minors. It is necessary to put the improvement of the surrounding environment of the campus in an important position, strengthen the bottom-line thinking and risk awareness, strengthen the mission of leading cadres, and implement various arrangements and deployments such as risk prevention, safety and stability, so as to effectively purify the surrounding environment of the campus and create a good atmosphere for the healthy growth of students.
At the meeting, Wen Weijie read out the "Notice on Printing and Distribution" of the County Safety Office and the County Education and Sports Bureau<校园安全管理问题专项整治工作方案>; Ma Xiao presided over the meeting; the person in charge of the County Education and Sports Bureau read out the "2024 Implementation Plan for the Special Treatment of the Prevention of Minor Drowning in the County"; and the County Public Security Bureau, the Education and Sports Bureau, the Water Conservancy Bureau and Hongzhuang Yang Town respectively made exchange speeches on drowning prevention and campus safety.
