In order to deeply learn the lessons of the recent fire accident and curb the occurrence of fire accidents, the emergency office of Wanggou Town organized third-party safety experts to conduct a safety inspection of the town's plastics industry.
The town's emergency office and third-party safety experts went deep into the production workshops and warehouses of various enterprises, focusing on checking whether there are debris stacked in the evacuation channels and safety exits, whether physical defense is implemented, whether the evacuation channels and safety exits are unblocked, technical defense transformation measures, whether the fire extinguishers are expired, whether the fire extinguishing and emergency evacuation plans meet the requirements, whether the fire fighting facilities and equipment are intact and effective, and whether the employees use fire extinguishing equipment in a standardized manner. At present, the town has inspected 27 plastic products industries, investigated a total of 362 problems, rectified 127 on the spot, and issued an order to rectify the site within a time limit.
In the next step, Wanggou Town will continue to carry out safety inspections in the plastics industry, further strengthen the fire safety investigation of plastic-related enterprises, punish those with potential safety hazards in accordance with laws and regulations, and urge enterprises to improve their awareness of fire hazard prevention, timely discover and rectify fire hazards, ensure the stability of the fire safety situation in the jurisdiction, and make every effort to curb the occurrence of fire accidents.
