In the past few days, affected by the continuous high temperature and lack of rain, there have been different degrees of water difficulties in some areas of Mengzi, and the Municipal Fire and Rescue Brigade responded quickly and organized a water delivery team to send domestic water to the masses.
In Xin'ansuo Street, the water level of Feibai Reservoir continued to drop due to drought, resulting in water difficulties for Xinzhuang Primary School and Xinzhuang Kindergarten. Firefighters quickly organized their forces to pump and hose from fire trucks to inject clear tap water into the school's water storage facility. In the Wanlu Village Group of the Yiwanshui Village Committee of Zhicun Town, fire rescue personnel sent 12 tons of domestic water to the village reservoir, which effectively alleviated the water difficulties of the village group.
In the follow-up work, the Mengzi Fire and Rescue Brigade will continue to pay attention to the drought situation, make emergency preparations at any time, and provide timely and effective help to the affected people. At the same time, the masses are reminded to save water, pay attention to fire prevention, and minimize drought losses.
