First of all, remove the charger output housing, due to the internal potting filling, use a cutting machine to cut the shell, and take out the internal PCBA module.
Attach foam insulation to the inside of the back cover of the charger.
The PCBA module is crimped to the PCBA module for power supply through a shrapnel.
Graphite thermal adhesive is pasted inside the shell to enhance heat dissipation.

Paste the heat sink on the side of the PCBA module and paste the tape insulation.

The rectifier tube at the input end of the charger is from PY Pingwei, model RS4MBF, fast recovery rectifier tube, specification is 4A 1000V.
The high-voltage filter capacitors are from Dongjia, which are KZM series 125°C heat-resistant capacitors, two of which are 400V33μF.
The other is 400V 22μF with a total filter capacitor capacity of 88μF.
The differential mode inductor is made of magnetic surrounding, and the jacket is insulated by heat shrinkable tube.
The GaN encapsulated chip is from Jewalt, model JW1565J, this encapsulated chip encapsulates the high-frequency GaN direct drive controller and GaN power transistor in one package, reducing the impact of parasitic parameters on high-frequency switching, JW1565J integrates high-voltage start and X-capacitor discharge functions, and integrates 700V withstand voltage, 165mΩ GaN switch inside the chip.
The Jewalt JW1565J has a wide supply voltage range, QR operation mode to improve energy efficiency, and the chip has optional over-current and over-power protection for different PD and QC fast charging applications. The chip has ultra-low standby power consumption, has reliable and perfect protection functions, and adopts VDFN6*8-8L package.
