Mr. Zhang first created a scenario of recycling waste batteries, guided students to protect the environment, love nature, and carried out environmental protection education for students. "Buying Stationery" is the content of decimal multiplication in the third unit of the second volume of the fourth grade of Beijing Normal University, and the focus of this lesson is to explore the simple calculation method and arithmetic of multiplying a decimal number by an integer on the basis of learning the meaning of decimal numbers and integer multiplication.
Mr. Yue made full use of the life information in the scenario window of the textbook, guided students to discover information, ask questions, analyze problems, and obtained the meaning of integers multiplied by decimal numbers and arithmetic algorithms in the process of solving problems. The scenarios connect the whole process of inquiry, which not only fully reflects the "origination of mathematics" from life, but also effectively improves students' learning initiative.
4th Grade – Letters for Numbers
"Letters Instead of Numbers" is the first lesson of the fifth unit of the second volume of the fourth grade of the Beijing Normal University edition. The focus is on understanding the meaning of letters representing numbers. The difficulty is to explore the law and use letters to represent the process of general law.
Teacher Yin entered the math classroom with a relaxed and happy pre-class rhyme song, and used the "frog ballad" as a guide to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning. Have students work in small groups to understand and master the important and difficult points of the lesson through discussion and inquiry. Through this teaching competition, we saw the different treatment of course content by different teachers and the different teaching effects produced by different teaching strategies, which also opened up the ideas of teachers' classroom teaching and further promoted the improvement of the teaching level of teachers in the mathematics group.
