On the morning of April 30, Huailai University for the Aged held a performance in the multi-purpose hall of the school to celebrate the May Day of the whole school. The program that our electric blowpipe class participated in this time was the electric blowpipe legato "Prairie Song Skewers", and we chose three songs: "Hong Geese", "Eji in the Dream", and "The Sun That Never Rises on the Prairie".
The main highlight of our participation in the performance this time is that all the students who can participate in the three-year enrollment participate in the performance, which can be said to be a very bold idea, because this year's new students have been enrolled for less than two months, that is, they have studied about five or six class hours, and it is really not easy for these people to perform these three songs on stage, but our students have done it, which is really admirable!
Moreover, our participation in the school performance this time adopts the form of independent registration and full participation, so that everyone has the opportunity to exercise on stage, especially to encourage new students to participate boldly.
In order to show our best state on the stage, our teacher Liu, head Cao, and class leader Yue used the time after class and the rest time on Sunday afternoon to organize everyone to practice, and many students were not only proficient in fingering in just a few days, but also achieved memorization performances.
It is indeed not easy for these old brothers and sisters to have such a performance effect, which fully shows that the students of our electric blowpipe class study hard and have a positive learning attitude, and also shows that the electric blowpipe is indeed an instrument that is easy to master.
This performance truly fulfilled our promise when we recruited students: we would blow a piece in a month, and we could perform on stage in three months. Although this performance is still flawed and not perfect, it has given our students great confidence and enthusiasm for learning, and everyone has a sense of accomplishment and pleasure, and has realized the dream of playing musical instruments for many years.
With the achievements of this performance, we will have more goals, more directions, and more motivation in our future teaching, and I believe that we will get better and better!
