In order to implement practical education, cultivate students' hands-on, brain-moving and practical life skills, and create a lively, healthy, erudite and confident learning environment, Wenxi County Chengxi Primary School held the third student labor skills competition from May 9th to 11th. This activity is divided into two projects: "Explanation of Greening Practice Base" and "Labor Skills Competition". Let's take a look at the children's work together.

Explanation of the greening practice base

The young contestants gave vivid explanations from the varieties, forms, habits, flower language, ancient poems and other aspects of the plants in their class. The students explained fluently, with clear pronunciation, loud voices, careful observation, accurate explanations, and natural and generous postures. They have enriched their knowledge, improved their language expression and writing skills by understanding plant species, understanding plant habits, observing and recording plant changes, and truly learned in practice and grown in experience! Not only that, but environmental protection experts were also born here.

Labor Skills Competition

The labor skills competition focuses on students' daily life skills, and sets up six competition items for each grade: folding clothes skillfully, tying red scarves, organizing schoolbags, wearing and tying shoes, nailing buttons, and peeling potatoes. The competition is divided into two stages: the class preliminary round and the school-level semi-final, and all students in grades 1-6 participate.

01. The first grade folds clothes skillfully

Don't look at their young age, under the order of the teacher, all the students are fighting bravely and not to be left behind. In an instant, they stacked their loose uniforms neatly on the table.

02. The second grade is tied with a red scarf

Not to be outdone, the bright red scarves rotated and jumped at the fastest speed under their hands, and finally perfectly circled an arc, forming a dynamic picture.

03. Organize your school bag in the third grade

The students were organized and organized. The messy books were instantly placed neatly and orderly in the schoolbags under the hands of the third-grade children. Not only did they master the skills necessary for life, but they also improved their ability to live independently, and they also experienced the joy of success.

04. Wear shoelaces and tie shoelaces

As soon as the whistle blew, the fourth-grade contestants immediately entered a state of fierce competition. The slender laces quickly passed through the small holes in the hands of the contestants and turned into beautiful bows.

05. Nail buttons

The button nailing competition is divided into: needle threading, leading, knotting, and buttoning. The classmates started nailing buttons after the whistle! I saw them holding the cloth in one hand and the needle in the other. In a short time the needle was threaded through the button, and back through another hole, and then the needle was threaded through the button, and a perfect "cross" was nailed.

06. Peel the potatoes

With paring knives in one hand and potatoes in the other, the contestants skillfully and quickly peel the potatoes. Scrape and turn, and the smooth potatoes stand out from the hands of the children, and their faces are filled with happy smiles.
