On the afternoon of April 16, Liang Yiguang visited Lu Xi, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Indonesia in Guangzhou. Lu Xi spoke highly of the platform role played by the Expo in promoting China-Indonesia cooperation in various fields, and said that he would actively promote various departments in Indonesia to do a good job in the preparations for the 21st ASEAN Expo in Indonesia, such as the invitation of leaders, investment promotion and exhibition, and the selection of "Charming City".
On the afternoon of April 16, Liang Yiguang visited the Deputy Consul General of the Australian Consulate General in Guangzhou, Mak Shulan. Mai Shulan is full of expectations for participating in the 21st ASEAN Expo, and said that she will make every effort to promote the relevant departments in Australia and the Secretariat of the Expo to jointly organize the 21st ASEAN Expo Australia Promotion Conference and Guangxi Commodity Exhibition, Australian enterprises Guangxi Tour and other activities, and actively organize Australian wine, agricultural products, food and other high-quality enterprises to participate in the exhibition.
On the morning of April 17, Liang Yiguang visited Harris, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Guangzhou (Director of the Guangzhou Office of the Malaysian External Trade Development Board). Harris said that Malaysia attaches great importance to serving as the theme country of the Expo for the third time on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, and all departments actively plan and prepare for the theme country activities to ensure that the theme country is more effective. The two sides also actively discussed the 2024 Malaysia-China Summit, the invitation of high-tech enterprises, and the selection of "Charming City", and reached a broad consensus.
