Our meat rabbits are self-breeding and self-raising, female rabbits are constantly circulating production, and the supply of commercial rabbits is sufficient. Up to now, the rabbit herd has nearly 10,000, and the sales volume has increased compared with last year.
As a large rabbit farmer in the group farm, Zhang Yuxia took the lead in establishing the Shuanghe Dongfeng Livestock and Poultry Breeding Professional Cooperative in June 2023, and the cooperative currently has 4 rabbit houses.
It is understood that meat rabbit breeding has the advantages of fast reproduction, high yield and quick effect. The breeding cycle of breeding rabbits is about 30 days, and the rabbits are divided into columns after 35 days of birth, fattening for about 40 days, and 75 days can be slaughtered.

At present, more than 95% of the rabbit meat in Bozhou is provided by the Shuanghe Dongfeng Livestock and Poultry Breeding Professional Cooperative.
