April is the National Basic Public Health Service Publicity Month, and April 15 to 21 of each year is designated as the National Cancer Prevention and Treatment Publicity Week. On April 16, Hekou County organized the 2024 National Basic Public Health Service Project Publicity Month and Tumor Prevention and Treatment Publicity Activities in Jiexin Garden.

During the event, medical staff also provided free blood pressure and blood sugar measurement services, as well as diagnosis and treatment services such as cupping and scraping.

Through this activity, the awareness rate of urban and rural residents on the national basic public health service project policy was further improved, the health awareness of "everyone should be the first responsible person for their own health" was established, a healthy and civilized lifestyle was practiced, and the whole society was widely mobilized to actively participate in cancer prevention and health examination. According to statistics, on the day of the event, the relevant departments distributed more than 300 copies of publicity materials, more than 200 copies of publicity materials, and more than 70 free clinics.
