He is like Liang Shan's big killer move, and he doesn't make a move easily.
In addition, Gongsun Sheng is a Taoist priest, and the Taoist priest pays attention to leisure meditation and cultivation, if he has been in Liangshan, often facing fights and killings, he will not be able to cultivate the Tao. So, Gongsun Sheng went down the mountain for the first time.
As for the second descent from the mountain, it was because the master had warned him, "Stop when you meet the seclusion, and return when you encounter the river", because the destiny of heaven cannot be violated. If Gongsun Sheng does not leave after Song Jiang successfully conquers Wang Qing, he will definitely participate in the conquest of Fang La in the future, and Liangshan will definitely be able to lose some generals, but this will violate the mandate of heaven, which is very particular about the mandate of heaven in ancient novels, which is the setting of the original book.
