Good news, Xbox is gearing up for a new trip to the wasteland!
Following the success of Amazon's Fallout TV series, Xbox reportedly plans to launch a new canonical sequel to Fallout "as soon as possible." Not only does this bring Fallout 4 players back to their old favorites, but it also heralds a new addition to the Xbox RPG franchise.
Since the TV series aired, Fallout 4 has seen a significant increase in achievement collections, and other Fallout series games on Xbox have also received more attention. This shows that the enthusiasm for the Fallout franchise has never waned. Although Fallout 4 has been with us for almost 9 years, the plans for a sequel seem to have been left unscheduled after the release of Fallout 4, at least officially. However, now Xbox has apparently realized the desire of players, and they plan to launch a new Fallout game "as soon as possible".
Amazon's Fallout TV series has not only been renewed for a second season, but it has also put Fallout 4 at the center of the conversation once again. This undoubtedly brings the perfect opportunity for Xbox to launch a new game. Windows Central's Jez Corden mentioned on the Xbox Two podcast that Xbox is working on plans to launch the next Fallout "as soon as possible." Although the specific details have not yet been revealed, it is enough to make us look forward to it.

While we may not see Fallout 5 anytime soon, Microsoft's gaming plans give us hope. Is the sequel on par with Fallout: New Vegas (the best game in the history of the Fallout series, developed by Obsidian Entertainment)?
Bethesda is also working hard to keep Fallout 4 alive with the new next-gen update. Despite some issues encountered during the update process (Bugs), the development team assured that the new quality model was not affected.
As Xbox's new game plans gradually surface, there is reason to believe that in the near future, players will once again embark on adventures in the wasteland.
GamerMarch will bring you more news about the sequel to Fallout 4.
