In order to further strengthen the fire safety education of streets, community workers and high-rise commercial complexes, enhance the fire safety awareness of staff, and improve the response and self-protection ability in the event of a fire accident. On April 11, Zhufutun Street, together with the Xincheng Fire and Rescue Brigade, the Xincheng Construction Bureau, and Chaogang Property, carried out a fire drill of "Paying Attention to Fire Fighting, Cherishing Life, and Sharing Safety" in Baoneng Center.
The drill was divided into three parts: simulated fire evacuation first aid, on-site explanation of the use of fire extinguishing equipment and fire safety publicity. With the sound of the alarm, the smoke billowed out, the drill officially began, the participants in accordance with the division of responsibilities of the plan, quickly arrived at their respective posts, performed their duties, organized and carried out vigilance, guide evacuees, fire fighting and rescue in an orderly manner, the whole disposal process was tense and orderly, and all the participants coordinated and cooperated, and achieved the expected results.
After the drill, the firefighters used easy-to-understand language to explain to the people at the scene self-defense, self-rescue, escape skills and how to carry out on-site rescue and other emergency knowledge, and demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers and the correct way to deal with fire accidents. Under the command of the firefighters, the high-rise owners and business staff came forward to experience and further master the operation skills of fire extinguishers.
Subsequently, the staff distributed fire safety leaflets, home safety notices and gas safety leaflets to residents, reminding high-rise residents to attach great importance to fire safety and take the initiative to do a good job in personal and family fire safety.
Through this fire drill, the fire safety awareness of the street residents and the ability to deal with emergencies were further improved. In the next step, Zhufutun Street will insist on taking fire safety as the top priority, continue to increase fire safety publicity, build a "firewall", tighten the "safety string", and maximize the safety of the lives and property of residents in the jurisdiction.
