April 11, 2024 marks the 145th anniversary of Mr. Yu Ren's birth. Mr. Yu Youren is a fair and ethnically respected person.
Premier Zhou Enlai once commented on him: "Mr. Yu Youren is a fair person with national integrity...... Liu Yazi praised him in the inscription of "Youren Poems" as "a big cloth cloth". Scholar Huo Songlin said in "Sanyuan Yu Youren Monument Text": "If there is one of the three of virtue, meritorious service, and speech, it can be immortal." And Mr. Yu Youren has both. ”
In his later years, Yu Youren lived in Taiwan, and his homesickness was overflowing, and his poem "Looking at the Mainland" made people cry when they read it.
In order to give full play to the social function of the museum and let everyone better understand the life deeds and contributions of Mr. Yu Youren, Shaanxi Sanyuan Yu Youren Memorial Hall "Four Advances" series of activities came to the Yandian Street community and carried out a series of colorful publicity activities.
During the event, the memorial hall donated a collection of Yu Youren's calligraphy works to the community, so that residents can appreciate Mr. Yu Youren's calligraphy art up close.
Comrade Yan Lei, an excellent docent of our museum, told the ups and downs of Mr. Yu Youren's life for the community party members and the masses with the theme of "Patriotism and compassion for the people, the real iron man, the poet and the grass saint". In the first half of his life, Mr. Yu Youren was campaigning for the promotion of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the joint resistance against Japan, and in the second half of his life, he was still worried about the country and the people. His life and deeds all reflect his patriotic feelings, and he truly achieves "the high temple is worried about the people, and the far away rivers and lakes are worried about the king".
Everyone followed the pace of the commentator, listened carefully, and deeply understood Mr. Yu Youren's many contributions to the Chinese nation and his great patriotic spirit.
