The exterior of the new-generation concept car is very recognizable to the brand, and it is quite similar to the "new generation" models of the 60s of the last century. BMW's iconic kidney grille and iconic BMW elements such as the classic "Ho Style Corners" pay tribute to the classics and face the future, and the BMW "New Generation" model based on the BMW 1500 has established the brand direction of BMW's "Sports Luxury", and the brand characteristics of "pure driving pleasure" have also been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people since then.
BMW's new-generation design is not a deliberate attempt to retain traditional elements, but to make meaningful innovations in the inheritance. The new generation of the concept car extends the visual width of the entire front and reinforces the character of a sports sedan, while the headlight combination is integrated into the huge kidney shape, and the progressive design effect creates a sense of mysterious depth. The kidneys of BMW's next-generation X Concept take a different approach, but it's just as advanced. The headlight design is the same as the sedan version, but with a solid kidney grille in the middle. The never-before-seen vertical geometry resembles the "new generation" of the '60s, but with the illuminated kidney silhouette and the depth of the headlights, the layers are more distinct, making it a model of "Phygital" design. Combined with the dark colour surround on the underside of the front of the car, the entire front end exudes a sense of texture and power in a simple way, highlighting the versatility and robustness of the BMW X model.
