Tianjin Women Science and Technology Workers Association
Tianjin Women Scientists Association was established on March 4, 2022 at Tianjin University of Science and Technology. The association has developed 36 unit members and 536 individual members such as Nankai University, Tianjin University and Tianjin University of Science and Technology, which are widely distributed in the fields of new energy, big data, ecological environment, biomedicine, electronics, agriculture, construction engineering and other fields. The association fully unites the group of female scientific research workers, takes the initiative to shoulder the important task of the times of science and technology power, marches deeper and wider into science and technology, gives full play to the strengths of women, and makes women in science and technology become women who are good at developing new quality productivity, and contribute women's wisdom to promote the strategic transformation of the mainland from a science and technology power to a science and technology power!
As a home for female scientific and technological workers, the association asks about the need to help female scientific and technological workers grow and develop. The association organized in-depth exchanges between female scientific and technological workers from different fields and the Municipal Women's Federation on the bottlenecks faced in work and life by carrying out the exchange and discussion activities of "listening to women's needs and feeling the power of women", so as to provide a sufficient basis for formulating and optimizing the development environment policies for female scientific and technological workers in a timely manner. The association attaches great importance to the cultivation of young female scientific and technological workers, and continuously stimulates the innovative vitality of young female scientific and technological workers through organizing activities such as the "Forum on the Training of Leading Talents of Young Female Scientific and Technological Workers in Colleges and Universities", and effectively promotes the good work of female young scientific and technological teachers in colleges and universities in innovation-driven development, achieving high-level scientific and technological breakthroughs, and building a world scientific and technological power.
The association exerts its organizational strength and actively speaks for female scientific and technological workers on a broad platform. In recent years, the association has participated in many domestic and international conferences, such as the 2nd Women Scientists Summit of the Pujiang Innovation Forum, the Innovation and Development Forum of the National Association of Women Scientists and Technologists, and the Women Scientists Forum of the 2023 World Young Scientists Summit. At a higher level and on a broader platform, through exchanges and communication with well-known academicians and female scientists at home and abroad, we will share and show the fruitful results of Tianjin's female scientific and technological workers in scientific research work, and talk about the responsibilities and contributions of women in scientific and technological innovation in the new era. The association also actively makes suggestions and suggestions to functional departments at all levels, strives for practical support for female scientific and technological workers, and creates a more friendly scientific research environment.
The association plays the role of a platform, builds a bridge of scientific and technological assistance, gives full play to the expertise of female scientific and technological workers, and contributes the wisdom of women in the "Rural Revitalization Women's Action". We regularly carry out research and technical support in agriculture-related areas, especially focusing on the problems faced by the "five major seed industries", and communicate and discuss with local agricultural enterprises. Through research and exchanges, we will build a cooperative relationship between female scientific and technological workers and agricultural enterprises, jointly promote the role of scientific and technological innovation in rural revitalization, and inject new vitality into the development of the agricultural industry.
