May 19, 2024 is the 34th National Day for the Disabled, and Jinshan District has been continuously strengthening the construction of home care talents, and effectively improving the level of care through various competitions and training.
In the morning, Qian Yahua, a home care attendant, came to Zhu Jintu's house in Minmin Village, Zhujing Town, as usual, and while doing daily housework, she would also help Zhu Tujin go out for a walk when the weather was fine, or push a wheelchair out to bask in the sun. Zhu Jintu, 75 years old this year, said that because of a stroke, he had many inconveniences in moving. The one-hour home care service every day also reduces a certain burden on their family.

Compared with ordinary elderly people, this kind of special elderly people should pay more attention, and we have been trained on how to use wheelchairs, crutches and precautions correctly.
In addition to various daily care training, home care personnel have also added a variety of fire safety knowledge learning. Wu Xuanhong, a home care attendant for a "double-disabled" family, found that the family she helped had problems with piles of materials in the corridors and aging wires, which were great safety hazards.
