In order to improve the fire safety awareness and emergency response ability of all teachers and staff and children, and further ensure the safety of kindergartens, recently, Guihua Town Kindergarten has carried out a series of fire safety activities.
According to the age characteristics of the children, the teachers of each class educate the children on fire safety knowledge through various forms such as videos, pictures, PPT, and storytelling. Teachers and children know all kinds of fire signs, understand the correct use of fire extinguishers, be familiar with safe evacuation routes, guide children to master basic self-protection and self-rescue skills, and let children understand the relevant knowledge of how to escape in case of fire in advance.
During the fire drill, as the rapid alarm sounded, the teachers of each class responded quickly, organized the children to pick up wet towels to cover their mouths and noses, bend over, and evacuate to a safe area in an orderly manner according to the evacuation route. Subsequently, each class immediately counted the number of people and reported the evacuation situation to the person in charge of safety to ensure that every child was evacuated safely and no one was missed.
In addition, in order to understand the working environment of firefighters, better grasp the knowledge of fire safety and more specific methods of self-rescue, escape and self-protection, the students of the middle class also walked into the fire station of Guihua Town to experience the fire life at close range, learn the knowledge of fire fighting, and feel a different fire class.
Through the introduction and display of firefighters, the children learned about the differences and uses of firefighting suits, rescue suits and other clothing. Under the guidance and protection of the firefighters, the children put on firefighting helmets and combat uniforms, and truly experienced a "little firefighter".
This fire safety activity further enriched the fire safety knowledge of teachers and students, improved fire safety awareness and escape self-rescue ability, laid a solid foundation for the fire safety work of kindergartens, and escorted the safe and healthy growth of children.
