Banqiao Town, Longyang District, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, is a famous ancient town on the Southern Silk Ancient Road, and is one of the important stations on the famous Yongchang Ancient Road in history, known as "Beijin Tobacco Willow" and "Plum Blossom Ancient Ferry".
Longyang District Banqiao Ancient Town Qinglong Street Intangible Cultural and Creative Block led by the Baoshan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the total length of the block is 732 meters, the core area of intangible cultural heritage is 125 meters long, is baoshan intangible cultural heritage, cultural creativity, cultural tourism and leisure centralized display and service window, is a demonstration block for the integration of cultural tourism development.
The block takes the 4A-level tourist scenic spot as the standard, invests a total of 35 million yuan, involving 35 shops, and selects a total of 30 business units, covering all levels and categories of intangible cultural heritage projects in the city, such as Wutong Walking Silver, Yongzi, Jiama Woodblock Prints, as well as local specialties, cultural and creative products, tea bars and other cultural and tourism industry projects.
Banqiao Ancient Town has always had the reputation of "Beijin Tobacco Willow, Plum Blossom Ancient Ferry", which has a history of more than 2,000 years and is an important station on the Yongchang Ancient Road. Due to the special location, since the Warring States period of the Southwest Silk Road gradually formed to the present, the Western Han Dynasty Banqiao formed a bazaar, the Tang Dynasty formed the Tea Horse Ancient Road "Snow Mountain Road" on the basis of Yongchang Road, the Ming Dynasty Banqiao Ancient Town was formed, the Qing Dynasty became an important station of the Southern Silk Road Ancient Road, the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty was renamed "Qinglong Street" by Longzhihuo, and the Republic of China period became a commodity processing and distribution center to build a large number of shops, and the basic pattern has been preserved to this day. Today, the traditional commercial shops, houses and historical sites of Qinglong Street have become a relatively complete preserved ancient town on Yongchang Road.
On June 12, Baoshan City 2021 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day and the launching ceremony of Qinglong Street Intangible Cultural and Creative Block were launched in Qinglong Street, Banqiao Town, Longyang District, Baoshan City.
According to Chairman Chen Yazhong, who won the honorary title of China's Pu'er Tea Master, on the day of the launch, the crowd on Qinglong Street was crowded and lively.
