There is actually less information about the T28 concept, but what we know is that the project was established in September 1943, and it was planned to use the M6 heavy tank as the basis of the hull, use an electric drive system, strengthen the frontal armor to 8 inches (203 mm), and install a 105 mm T5 gun as a heavy assault tank. The role of this "heavy assault vehicle" was to break through the German Siegfried Line, and the fortress complex known as the "Western Wall" was quite difficult to deal with. However, the T28 concept car was only made as a model, and it was killed by the U.S. Army before it had time to discuss it further, probably because it was too ugly.

In version 0.9.5, the T28 Concept was introduced to players along with the IV Assault Gun, T-55A, and Project 260 as a reward vehicle for the first stage of the Personal Mission. To be honest, the difficulty of obtaining the IV assault gun and the T28 concept car can be said to be very low, as long as you consciously do it with your heart, it is very easy to take. But there are very few people who drive this car in the game, because first of all, the level 7 car is embarrassing, plus it is a special car that can't make money, and finally because... It's really ugly.

In fact, in terms of firepower, the T28 concept car is not superior. Even compared with the "American Cheetah" T25AT of the same level, its 105 gun is a complete rout - the depth of penetration, DPM, accuracy and other data are basically defeated. It may be that WG thinks that the T28 concept car is "rough and thick-skinned" and mainly fights at close range, so these data are relatively "indifferent".... But it's a TD after all, and it's still very distressing when it's time for a black gun.

The T28 concept car also has poor mobility, although it is the foundation of the M6, and WG also deliberately increased its engine power to 1014 horsepower, but the car weighs 70 tons, and the terrain resistance is also unusually poor, causing it to drive like an old buffalo in a mud pond. However, the design of the T28 concept car is a bit similar to the KV-4 KTTS I talked about before, both of which adopt a fixed fighting compartment + cannon style design, which allows the T28 concept car to obtain a large firing range of 30 degrees on the left and right, and a total of 60 degrees. This kind of shooting allows the T28 Concept to fight in a special position:

The weak point of the T28 concept car, in addition to the 3 "packets" on the roof of the fighting compartment, was the presence of two machine-gun towers on the left and right sides of the fighting compartment. These two machine gun towers are equivalent to about 100, and they are very easy to wear, so they basically cannot be exposed to the enemy in actual combat. But with the blessing of the big shooting world, the T28 concept car can "tilt its head to look at people", in the case of the front and rear "Parkinson's" movement, the enemy is really not very easy to hit it, of course, if the iron heart cuts the gold coin bullet directly to hit the crotch, it still can't resist.

Another prominent problem with the T28 concept car is the lack of blood. You may still remember the Y-series level 7 gold coin Tan J AT 15A, that guy is the same as the T28 concept car is the so-called "heavy armor assault vehicle", and its initial blood volume is only 850, and then WG realized that this bit of blood makes AT 15A unable to fight hand-to-hand combat as a first-line tank, so it was added to 1050, but it is still not enough. But here in the T28 concept car, WG seems to have forgotten about it, and has not added blood to it for so many years, and the blood volume of 880 is really weak for a hand-to-hand assault vehicle positioned as a hand-to-hand assault vehicle.

Personally, I don't think the T28 Concept is particularly good in a level 7 TD, it doesn't have the same skills as the E-25 or SU-122-44, but it still qualifies as a reward car for personal missions in the early versions of the game. It's just that WG seems to have forgotten about it, and it hasn't been strengthened much for so many years, and if you give it a boost to a wave of HP or other stats, then its performance will definitely be better.
Recreational vehicles
Judging from the big data of various servers, the performance of the T28 concept car is okay, and it ranks third in the efficiency and winning rate of the 7-level Tan J WN8 in the European server, and the fifth place in the ring line. According to my observations on the national server, although its appearance rate is not high, the players who generally play this car are "prepared" and are not easy to deal with.
