The 2024 International Football Friendly Match kicked off, with Argentina taking on Costa Rica at Los Angeles Memorial Stadium. In the first half, Keylor Navas made a number of good saves and Ugarde broke the deadlock. In the second half, Di Maria scored from a free-kick, McAllister scored with a header, and Lautaro came off the bench. In the end, Argentina defeated Costa Rica 3-1.

In the 20th minute, Enzo passed into the penalty area, Garnacho volleyed with his left foot, Navas saved sideways, and Lo Celso's follow-up shot was blocked by Navas.
In the 27th minute, Rasitre took a corner kick from the left, Cascante headed the goal, and Benitez held the ball.
In the 32nd minute, Di Maria made a wonderful back-heel pass, Molina swept the penalty area, and Ferron cleared.

In the 34th minute, Zamora volleyed with his left foot, Benitez blocked it, and Ugarde followed up with a follow-up shot.
In the 38th minute, Zamora passed into the box and Calvo headed it high.
In the 51st minute, Di Maria picked up the middle, Enzo hit the goal, and Navas made a wonderful save.
In the 52nd minute, Di Maria took a direct free kick to break the net, and Argentina equalized.
In the 56th minute, Di Maria took a corner kick from the right, Otamendi headed it over, Tagliafico hit the crossbar, and McAllister headed it into the net.
In the 77th minute, De Paul passed into the penalty area, and Lautaro volleyed into the net.
