Calligraphy is a traditional cultural treasure of the Chinese nation, rich in connotation, broad and profound. People can get aesthetic enjoyment, philosophical enlightenment, and spiritual beautification in appreciation. Practicing calligraphy can enrich one's mind, improve one's overall cultivation, cultivate the spirit of Haoran, accumulate profound talents, obtain the spirituality of heaven and earth, and accept the essence of all things.
Xuzhou Fenghua Street Central Primary School is a characteristic school of calligraphy, and has always attached great importance to the practice of calligraphy. The school has made calligraphy training for teachers a regular part of school-based training, which has further strengthened our confidence in creating a campus with the fragrance of Chinese ink.
On the afternoon of March 25, the school invited Mr. Feng Wentao to carry out training on hard pen calligraphy for all teachers. Mr. Feng is a member of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, a member of the Jiangsu Calligraphy Association, a member of the Jiangsu Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, a member of the Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, and was selected into the talent pool of Jiangsu Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing House, and the special hard pen tutor of the Xuzhou Calligraphy Association Training Center.
Teacher Feng first explained and demonstrated in detail for the teachers from several aspects such as pen holding posture, pen movement method, and basic strokes, emphasizing how to find the right position, start the pen, line the pen and close the pen when writing. The teachers present were all impressed by his meticulous preparation and thorough explanation.
The teachers listened carefully to the lectures, and Mr. Feng and Mr. Cao followed up and guided, and the two hours passed quickly, and the teachers were still immersed in the joy of writing.
Through this training activity, the enthusiasm of teachers to learn and practice calligraphy was stimulated, and a solid foundation was laid for better calligraphy teaching. In the future, the school will continue to carry out more calligraphy training activities, and continue to consolidate the basic teaching skills of teachers, we believe that everyone will apply what they have learned, introduce calligraphy into the classroom, and better serve those lovely children!
