Sultanate of Hobbio (1878-1926)

The Sultanate of Hobyo (Somali: Saldanadda Hobyo, Arabic: سلطنة هوبيو), also known as the Obya Dynasty, was founded in 19th century by Somalis in central Somalia and eastern Ethiopia, founded in 1878 by Yusuf Ali Kennadi, a cousin of the Magiltin ruler Osman Mahmoud.

Italian Somalia (18891-1936, 1950-1960)

Italian Somalia (Italian: Somalia italiana) is a colony of the Kingdom of Italy in the Horn of Africa. During World War II, Italy invaded British Somaliland and Abyssinia, merging it with Italian Somalia and Eritrea, also an Italian colony, to form Italian East Africa. After the end of the Second World War, the former Italian Somalia was temporarily placed under Italian trusteeship by the United Nations. On 1 July 1960, the Italian Trust Territory of Somaliland became independent and merged with British Somaliland to form Somalia.

British Somalia (1952-1960)

British Somalia (English: British Somaliland), officially known as the British Somaliland Protectorate, was a British colony in the northeastern Horn of Africa. The capital is Hargeisa. During World War II, Italy occupied LinkedIn Somaliland from Italian East Africa in August 1940 and was liberated in 1941. On June 26, 1960, it became the State of Somaliland. On July 1, 1960, it merged with Italian Somalia to form Somalia.

The central motif of the Somali coat of arms is a coat of arms with a white five-pointed star on a blue ground, which is the same as the national flag. There is a crown on the shield, which symbolizes sovereignty. Left and right are supported by Somali leopards. Underneath are palm branches, spears and friezes.
