In this picture book, Ye Luying shows Wang Ximeng's journey before and after creating this painting:
During the Northern Song Dynasty, the 12-year-old boy Ximeng came to Bianjing to study alone. He was recruited by the then emperor Song Huizong to be a student in the painting academy.
Emperor Huizong often taught him painting skills in person, and Ximeng studied the classics of famous paintings and practiced painting techniques hard.
He went out of his way to see how the silk used for painting was woven.
What kind of paint can be used to paint magnificent mountains and rivers?
Day after day, he painted at his desk, imagining the outlines of the mountains and the ripples of the water, but sadly unable to draw a landscape that satisfied him.
In his dream, he saw two immortals, "Shi Qing" and "Shi Green".
The crane carried Wang Ximeng, and Qinglu guided him to the fairyland, and finally experienced the happiness between the mountains and rivers.
Back in Bianjing, he couldn't wait to unfold the scroll and paint, a long picture scroll, a piece of green landscape, finally had a magnificent atmosphere.
Ye Luying's solid painting skills, combining traditional painting styles with Western painting techniques, showing the unique style of thousands of miles of rivers and mountains in the past, and combining with the famous paintings of the Tang and Song dynasties, she staged a "famous painting travel" for readers.
