At the beginning of this month, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, suddenly announced that he would temporarily leave Xiaomi mobile phones and focus on the automotive business.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be released this month, and the main camera will use Sony's LYT900 sensor, with a 1-inch ultra-large bottom, which is currently Sony's most powerful 1-inch main camera, supporting OIS optical image stabilization, and continuing to be equipped with stepless variable aperture.

First released on the Xiaomi 14 Pro, the camera will automatically adjust the size of the aperture in video recording conditions and in movie mode, supporting up to 1024 steps of gear adjustment, known as "infinitely variable aperture".

In the case of the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra, the infinite variable aperture is again limited by the recording conditions, which means that the aperture is automatically adjusted under the camera's default conditions.
