The Road to Xiaomi: From Tsinghua to Executives
My name is Lin Xiaomeng, I was born in a scholarly family, my parents are university professors, and they always encourage me to pursue my dreams and follow my own path bravely. Since I was a child, I have been interested in technology and curious about the unknown world. In the year of the college entrance examination, I chose Tsinghua University without hesitation, hoping to find my own future here.
During my time at Tsinghua University, I immersed myself in the ocean of knowledge and explored the mysteries of science and technology with a group of like-minded partners. After joining Xiaomi, I was assigned to the MIUI team, responsible for the planning and operation of the product. However, just when I thought I had found my place in life, an unexpected news shattered the peace. The company is going to make an important personnel change, and I may be promoted to a senior executive of the group. The news made me both excited and nervous. I knew it was a great opportunity, but it also meant that I would face more challenges and pressure.
In the midst of confusion and hesitation, I found Lei Jun. He is not only my boss, but also a role model in my heart. After graduating, she chose to stay in Beijing to develop, while I joined Xiaomi. Although we have occasional contact, the trajectories of each other's lives have drifted apart.
However, shortly after I was appointed as a senior executive of the group, Su Wan'er suddenly approached me. She told me that she also joined Xiaomi and was assigned to work in the marketing department. When I heard the news, I was both surprised and excited.
