According to the timeline of each model of the ocean network in 2024, the dolphin will be replaced with a four-link in February, the corvette 07 will be added to the market in March, the Hiace EV (Hiace 07 EV) will be listed at the Beijing Auto Show in April, the seal EV facelift will be released in June, the destroyer 06 (or seal 06) will be released, the coral (ocean network version of Song Pro) will be released in July, the second generation of Song PLUS will be released in August, the Seal 5 will be released in September, and the Hiace DM-i will be released in October. Among them, the new Dolphin, which will be launched in February, has arrived in stores, and the exterior styling is basically the same as the current model, but it will add a "Atlantis Gray" monochrome paint, and will be offered with new three-color petal-style wheels, as well as privacy glass, and the tail badge will also be changed to the "Dolphin" wordmark. On the basis of the continuation of the current model, the interior is equipped with a dark black color scheme that was only available in the previous Knight Edition, in addition, the LCD instrument panel adopts a new UI, upgrades to 50W wireless charging of mobile phones, increases the on-board ETC, seat ventilation, etc.
The biggest highlight is naturally the replacement of the rear four-link independent suspension, which means that the driving quality will be improved. As for the power, according to the declaration information, the new Dolphin will continue to be equipped with a 70kW drive motor, but it will be matched with 32.256kWh and 60.48kWh battery packs, corresponding to a range of 302km and 520km respectively, which is different from the current 420km and 401km. And the new car may be named "Dolphin Champion Edition", coupled with the information of the low-range version, which means that the price of the new Dolphin will be reduced.
The Hiace 07 EV, which will be launched at the Beijing Motor Show in April, is based on the e-platform 3.0 and is positioned as a mid-size SUV, and is a "sister" model to the Song L. The exterior continues the design concept of marine aesthetics, with a low-lying closed front face with a shuttle-style headlight cluster and a complex front surround, which is very combative. The body size is 4830/1925/1620mm in length, width and height, which is not much different from the Song L, and the wheelbase of 2930mm is the same, and the rounded fastback shape is adopted. The tail through-type taillight is also a family design of the ocean net.
As for the power, the Hiace 07 EV will be available in three forms, including a two-wheel drive version with 170kW and 230kW motors, and a 160kW + 230kW front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive version, matched with 71.808kWh and 80.64kWh battery packs, providing two ranges of 550km and 610km. In addition, it will be equipped with CTB battery body integration technology, front double wishbone rear five-link independent suspension, and equipped with Yunnan-C intelligent body damping control system, iTAC intelligent torque control system, and "Eye of the Gods" high-end intelligent driving system.
PPT shows that the destroyer 06 may be named Starfish, but according to the "Gemini" strategy of BYD Ocean Network, the SUV model will be integrated into the Hiace IP in the future, and the sedan will be integrated into the seal IP, and according to the information declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the destroyer 06 or the seal 06.
If the Hiace 07 EV and Song L are "sister" models, then the Seal 06 and Qin L are "brother" models. The length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1875/1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2790mm, which is basically the same as the Qin L, positioning the A+ class sedan, but the shape is sharper than the Qin L. It is powered by a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system with a maximum engine power of 74 kW and a 120 kW and 160 kW electric motor, with a fuel consumption as low as 3.8 liters per 100 km, or a fifth-generation DM-i hybrid system with a pure electric range of 60 km and 90 km.
As for the "Coral" that was launched in July, it can be understood as the Song Pro of the Ocean Network, and it is expected that it will eventually be named in the form of a sea lion + number. From August to October, the new generation of Song PLUS, Seal 5 and Hiace 07 DM-i were released one after another. According to the plan, Seal IP will launch two new sedans in the A-class and A+-class this year, of which, the A+-class sedan is the Seal 06, and the A-class sedan may refer to the Seal 5, according to the naming method of the Seal 06, its final name may be the Seal 05.
