The huge increase in military and economic power has made India somewhat drifting, believing that India is also qualified to become a permanent member of the Security Council, and that the "P5" should become the "P6".
To this end, since 2005, India has applied for permanent membership in the United Nations every year, and has applied 18 times, without a single success. Every time India applied for permanent membership, one country voted against it at the crucial stage of voting. But at one point, it was not agreed who would vote against, and all five countries voted in favor. While India was cheering, the United States lied that the machine was broken and demanded a new vote, but the United States voted against it.
The attitude of the P5 towards India's application to join the permanent membership of the UN Security Council has been very obvious, but India has not seen through it and still does not give up.
Recently, India is applying for permanent membership again. Moreover, after meeting with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out that Russia supports India in becoming a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
Russia's support for India's entry into the permanent state has aroused widespread concern in the international community. In fact, Russia's support for India's entry into the permanent zone is conditional, that is, in exchange for India's agreement to further economic and trade cooperation with Russia, the most important of which is to build the Chennai-Vladivostok route and the Northern Shipping Route.
