Hey friends, today we're going to talk about something light. You know what, my most recent trip was really memorable. I went to a picturesque and humane place - the Northeast. Oh, there's as many stories there as there are snowflakes in winter, but don't worry, I'm not going to freeze you into a snowman, I'm going to tell you a few things that will make you happy.
First of all, let's talk about the morning market over there, which is really a lively place. Imagine stepping on a thick layer of snow in the morning dew, filled with the sound of hawkers and steaming snacks. I still remember an old guy who sold sugar gourds, and he shook the string of red, crystal clear candy in his hand, which was like a work of art. The first bite is crisp and loud, sweet and sour, and delicious!
When it comes to the hospitality of the people of the Northeast, there is really nothing to say. For example, I met an uncle who looked like the tough guy in the TV series - his skin was red from the cold wind and his eyes were resolute. When he saw me, a foreigner, he showed me the way very gently, and even dragged me to his house to try his kimchi! By the way, no matter how much I said, I can't forget to mention their kimchi, which is sour and crunchy, and I want to eat it again.
And, in the Northeast, you'll find kids playing super creatively. Once, I saw a group of little kids building snowmen in the park, but this is not the chubby and round cutie that ordinary friends and adults pile up! They actually build a superhero version of a snowman out of radish noses and briquettes for eyes! Imagination is really not covered!
The most touching thing is to meet a taxi driver. It was a snowy day, and I stood on the side of the road freezing like potatoes that had been forgotten in the refrigerator overnight. Seeing this, the eldest brother pulled me into the car without saying a word, and turned the heating on the highest setting to thaw me out. When he arrived at his destination, he waved his hand and said, "Young man, this trip is free!"
I almost forgot to tell you that eating hot pot in the Northeast is the only way to have a hearty dripping meal! Peppers, coriander, and fresh meat slices swim happily in the hot soup, and there are friends or big brothers in the Northeast who have just met but seem to be old friends for many years.
So, friends, on this spring occasion, if you want to experience something unusual on a whim, or want to change your mood and stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life, why not consider going to the Northeast to take a walk?
Okay, okay, that's all for today! Don't forget to smile and be curious!
