Some Chinese tourists see a harsh reality at Sri Lankan train stations.
There are a lot of murals painted by Sri Lankan students on the walls of the railway station. Like us in China, they are all paintings that promote peace and friendship.
Looking closely, it really chills the Chinese to the bottom.
Judging from the annotations of the paintings, they are all paintings of children in high school.
Among these paintings, which express the good qualities of Sri Lanka and the people of all nationalities in the world, there are representatives of countries and peoples from Asia and Europe.
There are also white doves representing peace and the flags of friendly countries around the white doves.
It is a pity that neither the national flag nor the nation has China, the largest donor to Sri Lanka.
Are Chinese rich? There is indeed a long list on the Forbes list.
However, in the vast western region, how many children cannot afford to study and have enough to eat. How many elderly people have been left in the countryside in order to survive, and how many children have been separated from their parents. The number of poor people in our country may be greater than the entire population of many countries.
The price of our children's tuition is rising, the price of vegetables, grains, pork and eggs that we eat every day is rising, and the price of coal and gasoline is rising. Even so, our finances still allocate a large amount of money every year to support poor countries like Sri Lanka.
But what is the result? In the hearts of the children of a country like Sri Lanka, Japan, South Korea, and Canada are friendly, and so many countries are friendly, but China is not friendly.
How else can China express its friendship?
