Looking to apply for an undergraduate program at a public university in Singapore?
The application period is mainly concentrated from October to February of the following year.
It is recommended that students apply in October in the first half of the third year of high school, so that they can submit the college entrance examination results after the college entrance examination results come out, and complete the application process more smoothly.
However, it should be noted that the college entrance examination candidates who apply this year will not be able to enroll until August next year.
If you want to apply for a master's program at a public university in Singapore, there are two opportunities to apply each year, divided into spring and autumn.
Applications for spring admission usually begin in May-June of the previous year and close in August-November;
Applications for fall admission begin in August and September of the previous year and close from December to March of the following year.

Application period: November 1, 2023 to March 3, 2024
Language Requirements: (Either one of the requirements is sufficient)
IELTS:
The overall score is 6.5, with 6.5 in both the reading and writing sections.
TOEFL:
92-93 minutes.
· C1高级/剑桥英语（Cambridge English: Proficiency）：180分。
· PTE（Pearson Test of English Academic）：
The overall score is 62, and the reading and writing sections are also 62 points.
Score requirements: Usually the college entrance examination score is required to exceed the local first line of 50 to 100 points.
Master's application
Application period: October 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024 (the deadline for some projects is March 31)
Language requirements: TOEFL (internet-based) score of at least 85, IELTS score of at least 6.5 or above
Grades: A government-recognized bachelor's degree with an average score of at least 80+ and a GPA of at least 3.0+;
Work experience related to the major applied for can be a plus.
Nanyang Technological University
Undergraduate application
Application period: October 15, 2023 to January 20, 2024
Language Requirements: (Either one of the requirements is sufficient)
TOEFL:
Internet-based exam: a minimum score of 90. Paper-based test: at least 600 points.
IELTS:
Overall score: 6.5 points. Writing section: 6.5 points.
· PTE（Pearson Test of English Academic）：
Total score: at least 55 points.
· AST English test: at least 215 points.
· The ACT test consists of an essay test: a minimum of 30 points overall.
Score requirements: The score of the college entrance examination exceeds the local first line by 50 to 100 points
Master's application
Application period: September 2023 to January 2, 2024 (the deadline for most projects is January 31, and the deadline for some projects is April 1)
Language requirements: TOEFL iBT score of at least 92 overall, IELTS overall score of at least 6.5 to 7.0
Grade Requirements:
Possess a government-recognized bachelor's degree;
Average score of at least 80+ and GPA of at least 3.0+;
GRE and GMAT scores are required for some majors, which are subject to the admissions requirements of each college.
Singapore Management University

Application period: October 16, 2023 to March 19, 2024

Overall: Minimum 7.0 points.
Reading: At least 7.0.
Writing: A minimum of 6.5.
· ACT：
Overall score: minimum 29 points.
English + Reading: Minimum score of 57.
No essay required.
· C1高级/剑桥英语（Cambridge English: Proficiency）：
Overall: Minimum 185 points.
Reading: At least 185 points.
Writing: A minimum of 176 points.
· PTE（Pearson Test of English Academic）：
Overall: Minimum 66 points.

Application period: January 2, 2024 to February 28, 2024
Language requirements: Applicants are required to submit standardized test scores such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE Academic.
However, the school does not set a minimum English score for admission, and will consider the applicant's performance in both academic and non-academic areas to determine whether he or she meets the admission criteria.
Grade Requirements:
Completion of at least 12 years of general education: This is a basic requirement for the application to ensure that the student has the necessary educational background.
Submit SAT or ACT scores: Applicants are required to submit scores from one of these tests, including the writing test section.
- SAT: An overall score of at least 1260, with a minimum of 630 in reading and 630 in math.
