Singapore to Johor Bahru Special Forces Day Tour! Eating, drinking and having fun are all arranged, and I will go next time

author:Singapore Eye

Editor's note: Johor Bahru, just across the water from Singapore, is a treasure trove of southern Malaysia with a wide variety of local cuisines, laid-back cafes, cultural attractions, theme parks and shopping malls. Coupled with the advantages of exchanging Singapore dollars for Malaysian ringgit, it has become a must-visit place for Singaporeans. Netizens shared her day trip from Singapore to Johor Bahru, Malaysia by bus.

Entry into Malaysia

Before departing to Johor Bahru, make sure to bring your passport (it must be valid for at least 6 months).

Before entering Malaysia, you will also need to fill out a migration card at MDAC. Return on the same day and fill in Others JB 80100 JOHOR JOHOR. When you receive the email, you're done.

Before entering the country, I exchanged RM350 (exchange rate 3.5) at Clementi at 10:30.

On that day, I took the Singapore MRT East-West Line (Green Line) to Boon Lay Station. Turn left after exiting the station and go straight, turn right when you see the road, you can find a bus stop that says SW6, take the bus with 5 new cash (it seems that you can also use CMLink) remember to collect the small yellow ticket given.

Get off the bus is the exit gate, and swipe your passport directly with the flow of people to leave the country. Then take the bus with the crowd and arrive at the immigration gate.

Go to the international passport artificial window, you can give the passport, and it will be stamped!

After coming out, I found the passage of SW6 and followed the bus with a yellow ticket.

But we didn't seem to be sitting on the right side, and when we got to AEON (Bukit Indah), we were at the second stop (because a lot of people got off at this stop).

After going in and shopping at Daiso Department Store, we took a taxi to eat Haidilao.

Networking is important

cmlink really doesn't have a network in Malaysia, saying that it has 1GB, but it turns out to be a lie. Aeon's shopping mall has wifi, Sutera Mall does not have shopping mall wifi, but every store has it, Mid Valley has shopping mall wifi, see netizens say that the 711 at the gate can buy a 10 yuan traffic card But we didn't notice it at the time!

Because there is no network, it is recommended to take screenshots of all the guides to the places you want to go, and look at the Internet and say that singpass and email are also screenshots (to be used to pass the level), but I didn't actually use it.

搭grab到Sutera Mall,花了车费11马币。

There was a long queue outside the restaurant

It was half past one in the afternoon when we arrived there, and we ate Haidilao to feed our stomachs.

There was a long queue of people outside the store on Saturday that day, and we waited in line for an hour!

The two of them went on a binge and spent a total of RM271 (the discount for students is during weekdays, and the discount for an hour and a half is after 6pm).

I ordered one cup (light matcha + taro puree + chocolate brownie), RM15 (buy two get one free) and an average of RM10 per cup.

I've eaten and drunk, and now it's time to go shopping~

Watsons mouthwash bottles are only RM18 and I bought them in Singapore for S$11!

I also play gacha here, 20 ringgit four coins, and I also get a little pig pinch~

Because it was really uncomfortable to have no internet, we embarked on the road of finding 711. It took more than an hour to find a 711 (no internet is too painful my God), and it turned out that there was no data card for sale............ (The most painful today).

At 7pm, we spent MYR 20 to take the grab to Mid Valley.

It was 7:50 p.m. when we arrived at the mall. This mall is huge, and we decided to come here directly next time~

The price of brand-name goods has increased, but it is still very cheap

Xiangxiang's price has risen, but it is only 208 ringgit, and the cabinet sister is super gentle and kind to remind us of the schoolbag zipper (not pulled well).

YSL lipstick only costs RM175, and you get 416 after trying; There is no black pipe 314, next time I will see it, and the cabinet sister also sent a perfume sample.

I bought Xiao Pu's book at the popular bookstore, and there are many copies, but the popular bookstores in the two shopping malls were gone.

I bought the books I had been looking for again at the popular bookstore in Mid Valley.

There are so many shops and food, it's too late to visit.

At 10pm, we rushed to grab to JB Sentral (Johor Bahru Sentral Station) back to Singapore. Fortunately, the female driver felt a lot more relieved, super tired, so she even squinted in the car for a while. At that time, the road conditions were super congested.

After 42 minutes, we arrived at JB Sentral. After getting off the bus, get on the elevator, keep following the to Woodlands (to Woodlands) sign, there is no sign in the middle of the room for a while (I saw KFC and turned right, walked straight to the door and found the woodlands sign again).

Keep following and you will get to the exit gate.

We left Malaysia at 10:55, and we could only go through the manual channel, and we could clear customs after showing our passports.

Follow the flow of people to take the elevator downstairs, see the bus, we take 170 (you can directly swipe the DBS card tied to Applepay).

At 11:08, we arrived at the Singapore immigration gate.

跟随人群走,进入Arrival Hall,找到左侧“tp holder”入口,刷护照直接丝滑入境。

Entry into Singapore

11:15, Successfully entered Singapore.

There is a network that can be used to navigate, and you can navigate home directly~

When we went back to Clementi, we took 170, because it was too late and the green line had ceased operation, so we took the north-south line (red line).

If there is a green line, the red line will go to Jurong East, and then the green line will go to Clementi.

Because I didn't have dinner, I ran to the Jem mall to eat and went home, and it was already 1 o'clock in the morning when I got home.

There is something I want to say

Through this small trip, I feel that everyone in Johor Bahru can speak Chinese and speak it very well, especially in the catering service industry, so the whole process is stress-free.

I have a lot of cash in hand, I feel that only the taxi must be cashed (cash is the most convenient), and the rest can be used visa card (DBS card), and it doesn't matter if there is only Singapore dollar in the card, it will be directly converted to Singapore currency with the real-time exchange rate.

Try to buy a traffic package in advance or go to a place to buy a traffic card, it is really difficult to live without a network, you need to take a taxi, check the strategy, and pay. Most of the malls have wifi, but if you don't have a network in the car, you are worried about being abducted by the driver.

Johor Bahru may still be as safe as Singapore. It is recommended not to go out when it is dark, and if you return on the same day, it is recommended to leave before 9 o'clock in the evening, otherwise there will be a super traffic jam on the crowded road, and you may not be able to catch up with the car and the subway.

Next time I want to go to Chen Xunian Street and City Mall! And then visit Mid Valley! If you want to know more about Singapore's eating, drinking and playing, you can add xinjiapoyan2 or scan it, please add the customer service WeChat note "Eat, drink and play" to the group.
