Since the establishment of the project in 2019, the "Super Engineering Research" has completed two series of research work after more than 5 years, one is to complete the "Super Engineering Research" series of reports, 2 general reports, 4 special reports, and 4 final reports, with about 1.46 million words. The second is to compile 29 volumes of publications with about 5.215 million words, including 6 books on theoretical research "Super Engineering Series", about 1.9 million words.
This achievement is the first systematic study of the basic topic of engineering as a country in modern China, and fills the gap in academic research in related fields. The whole research covers ancient and modern China and foreign countries, spanning more than 12,000 years, and is a grand systematic academic research project, which provides important scientific decision-making support for the construction of a modern modern Chinese power.
At the release site of the results, a congratulatory letter sent by Dai Houliang, chairman and secretary of the party group of China National Petroleum Group, was read out, which ignited the passion of oil people to work hard and work hard.
The super project is the pinnacle of the great creation of human beings to transform nature, and it is a milestone project to promote the progress of human civilization. The super engineering research project is a major strategic research project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a key project supported by the national high-end think tank of PetroChina, which focuses on the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics and development laws of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign super projects, which has great practical significance and academic value.
As the main force of domestic super project construction and one of the initiators and promoters of the research project, PetroChina has built a number of oil and gas supply guarantee projects to ensure national energy security, including Fushun Petrochemical Project, Dushanzi Petrochemical Project, Yumen Oilfield, Tarim Oilfield, Sulige Gas Field, etc., 19 projects built by PetroChina have been selected into the "China Modern Super Project Ranking", and Daqing Oilfield, Changqing Oilfield and Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline have been selected into the "World Modern Super Project Ranking" It shows the responsibility of energy central enterprises and writes an oil chapter in Chinese-style modernization.

The results of "Super Engineering Research" accurately selected 643 super projects spanning ancient and modern times, covering China and foreign countries, to enter the ranking. After the preliminary selection, screening, preliminary recording and selection procedures, 110 projects were finally selected to be selected into the "Ancient Chinese Super Engineering Ranking", 299 projects were selected into the "China Modern Super Engineering Ranking", 100 projects were selected into the "World Ancient Super Engineering Ranking", and 134 projects were selected into the "World Modern Super Engineering Ranking".
Each of the 643 super projects that entered the ranking determined its historical status through professional discussions, and its social value was determined by expert scoring. At the same time, the method of converting the investment of super projects is summarized, such as the rice price method, and the large model is used to convert the Great Wall, which costs at least more than 10 trillion yuan.
