On December 21, the 6th International Cultural Festival of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications arrived as scheduled. With the theme of "The Road to Happiness", Chinese and foreign students from more than 30 countries and regions collided with brilliant sparks in cultural exchanges.
Students paraded along the campus, and flags from various countries were unfurled in the wind. In the Anheng Youth Theater, the characteristic cultural tent activities are very lively. Representatives of international students from 15 countries carefully placed the special food of their hometown in front of their respective booths, with attractive colors and unique national flavors. Pavel, from Russia, prepared a lot of traditional delicacies from his hometown with his partners, invited everyone to taste them, and shared the customs of his hometown. Aya Rahim, a Moroccan student who participated in the festival for the first year, introduced the local characteristics of hand-painting, delicate and unique patterns, and sent good wishes.
In front of the Chinese booth, a complete range of Chinese painting utensils were placed, and everyone was enthusiastic to depict the landscape and humanities under the guidance of the stall owner. In the evening, the art show kicked off. The song "Spring Festival Overture" sent blessings and warmth to everyone, the superb performance of the Dragon and Lion Troupe made many international students still remember after the end of the show, and the multi-talented international students also brought enthusiastic singing and dancing performances.
In recent years, with the proposal of the "Belt and Road" initiative, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications has seized the opportunity to vigorously develop education for studying in China, with the goal of cultivating international high-level professionals with professional competence and "the spirit of SUPT, Chinese feelings, and world mind", coordinating school resources, improving systems and policy guarantees, and becoming the first batch of "target schools for studying in Jiangsu".
