The field of view refers to the area of view of the object that can be observed by the lens, which is usually larger than the actual size of the object to be observed to ensure that it is within the range of mechanical error. Resolution refers to the minimum distance between two object points (or image points) that can be resolved, and the object resolution of the lens matches the resolution of the camera to obtain the best imaging effect. The flange distance refers to the distance between the mechanical surface of the camera body and the lens in contact with the camera sensor and the camera chip, which needs to correspond to the back intercept of the lens to allow the light to focus on the camera chip. The common industrial camera interfaces include C mount, CS mount, F mount, M72 mount, M95 mount, etc., and the flange distance needs to correspond to the back intercept of the lens before it can be used.
