1. Tighten the strings of food poisoning prevention and control at all times

Food poisoning refers to acute and subacute diseases that occur after eating food contaminated with toxic and harmful substances or using food containing toxic and harmful substances.

These foods can be inherently toxins, contaminated with microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi and their toxins, or contaminated with viruses and chemical poisons. According to the pathogenic factors, it is divided into bacterial, toxic animal and plant food, chemical toxicology, fungi and its toxin and other food poisoning.

Once food poisoning occurs, patients will generally first have gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and watery stools, and when the poison is absorbed into the bloodstream, it will damage the liver, kidneys, heart and other organs, and in severe cases, it will be life-threatening. For example, if a patient who has accidentally ingested highly virulent bacteria such as Amanita phalloides or red mushrooms (charcoal mushrooms), if effective first aid measures are not taken within 6 hours after the onset of uncomfortable symptoms, it will be very unfavorable to the patient's later treatment, and it is prone to severe and critical cases, and the risk of death is extremely high.

Therefore, the broad masses of the people must always tighten the string of food poisoning prevention and control, pay attention to understanding, absorbing and mastering certain knowledge of food poisoning prevention and control in the food safety publicity work of the government, relevant departments and various media, and improve the ability of food poisoning first aid. Avoid unnecessary economic losses caused by food poisoning, and even endanger human health and life safety.

2. Strictly abide by the management system for rural group dinners

The organizers (undertakers) of rural group meals shall strictly abide by the provisions of the "Yunnan Province Rural Group Meal Food Safety Management Standards (Trial)". Ensure that the environment, facilities, food procurement and storage, food processing, and operators of food processing meet the regulations and requirements, especially prohibiting the purchase and use of grass black, aconite, puffer fish, wild mushrooms, sprouted potatoes, green beans, nitrite processed food, as well as prohibiting the processing of cold food.

Within 10 working days before holding a rural group dinner, report to the food safety management personnel (food safety coordinator or food safety information officer) of the village or community neighborhood committee, and accept the supervision and guidance of the food safety management personnel.

3. Food poisoning self-help knowledge

If you have symptoms of dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, irritability, hallucinations and other poisoning symptoms after eating food, you should call 120 immediately and seek medical attention in time.

At the same time, in the process of waiting for treatment, simple emetic measures should be taken quickly, the method is to drink a large amount of warm water or light salt water, stimulate the larynx with soup spoon handles, chopsticks, fingers, etc. to induce vomiting, and drink an appropriate amount of sugar and salt water after vomiting to prevent dehydration from causing shock. Suspicious food samples, personal vomit and excrement before the poisoning should be kept as far as possible for clinical reference after examination by professional institutions.
