I'm a maple poplar tree. My family and I grew up next to the thousand-year-old village of Xixinan, sheltering the village from wind and rain, blocking floods, culverting water and nurturing life. In the past 100 years, we have ancient trees, and the wetland we have conserved has also attracted countless friends, including smart ribbon birds, proud little egrets, and cute fireflies at summer nights...... For thousands of years, we have coexisted in harmony with Xixinan, where people live and work in peace and contentment, and where all things grow freely.
IN RECENT YEARS, WITH THE VIGOROUS DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL TOURISM, MORE AND MORE TOURISTS HAVE COME TO THE ANCIENT VILLAGES FROM ALL DIRECTIONS, AND MANY TOURISTS WHO LOVE US HAVE VISITED, PHOTOGRAPHED, DANCED, AND FORESTWALKED HERE.

However, with the increasing number of tourists, the environmental pressure is increasing. We deeply feel that the living environment is slowly changing, the soil is not as soft as before, the nutrition is not as sufficient as before, the grass on the ground has become less and shorter, and the friends in the forest have slowly left. There are also some wayward tourists who "don't take the usual road", some step over the guardrail, climb flowers and plants, litter, some camp on the spot, trample on the grass, some dance on the grass, Douyin live broadcast, and some villagers lead their cattle and sheep into the wetland and graze on grass and trees...... Our home, the maple poplar wetland, has more and more scars, less and less verdant, and our growth is becoming more and more difficult.

Just when we were exhausted, I heard that some villagers proposed to let the maple poplar forest wetland take turns to rest, open the original two tour routes in turn every 2 months, and carry out vegetation restoration, eliminate the "sheep intestine trail" formed by the trampling of tourists, give us time to repair and repair, but also give the maple poplar forest friends a space to recuperate, listen to the news, we are very happy, and finally can "take a vacation"!
