2. Appearance volume design

3. Air duct and fan design
Honeywell KJ820F
This adopts a double-sided air inlet design, sucking in from both sides→ after filtration→ then air is discharged from the top, and the air is inlet on both sides to achieve the filtration effect. The filter is a combination of HEPA filter + honeycomb carbon technology + iron mesh viscous carbon technology, which can purify indoor air more efficiently.
Honeywell's fan is one on each side, the power is 85W, in the wind speed test, the air effect is not so high, the fan is best to choose a double fan, so that the wind speed effect is faster, the cleaning ability will be better. The drawer-type structure filter can be removed, but the external iron mesh cannot be removed, and it will be more troublesome to take care of it later.
Arcachi
General air purifiers are mostly single-sided/double-sided inlet + single-sided outlet, or annular inlet top outlet, and often only one fan is working. Third, the effect of purification test
In order to more intuitively show the purification effect of these three purifiers, I will conduct a comparison of actual measurements, including sterilization test, PM2.5 test, formaldehyde removal test, wind speed test and noise test, which of these three purifiers has the better effect? Let's move on~
1. Sterilization test
I bought it
Three bacterial petri dishes, disassembled and put in their respective rooms, and then purified with the low wind speed of the purifier, I spent 3 and a half days here to test to see which dish will breed more colonies.
From left to right, the colonies on the Akachi, millet, Honeywell, and Akachi Petri dishes are light yellow, the area is not large and the number is also the smallest; Millet petri dishes have a high proportion of black colonies and a large colony area, but the area near the purifier of the petri dish is relatively clean; Honeywell Petri dishes have smaller colonies and more light-colored colonies, but colonies are also numerous and evenly distributed.
The sterilization effect of these three machines is still very different, and the most prominent performance here is the air disinfection machine of Akachi.
In order to test the rigor, I also added apple control, turned on the air purifier, put it overnight, you can see the apple that has not undergone air purification under the natural room temperature, the mold becomes very obvious, and the other 3 apples, after air purification of different machines, have obvious improvements, of which the effect of Akachi is the best.
2. Except PM2.5 test
In order to simulate the limit of PM2.5 seriously exceeding the standard, I specially selected smoke cakes as test props. Light the same amount of smoke cake in each room and raise the PM2.5 value detected by the sensor to the highest peak, then turn on the highest gear of the purifier and start the timekeeping, recording the time it takes for the three purifiers to drop from the highest peak to 100 value, and from 100 value to the blue label state (air health).
The room is filled with smoke after each cake is lit, with the upper limit of PM2.5 detection of 600 μg/m³ for the Xiaomi sensors and the peak PM2.5 peak of 999 μg/m³ for the Honeywell and Arcach sensors.
From the highest detection peak to 100μg/m³, Xiaomi took 14 minutes and 46 seconds, Honeywell took 17 minutes and 39 seconds, and Arkachi took 13 minutes and 29 seconds; Going from 100 μg/m³ to Blue Label (Air Health), Xiaomi took 9 minutes and 49 seconds, Honeywell took 8 minutes and 41 seconds, and Arcetci took 8 minutes and 26 seconds.
From the speed and efficiency of removing PM2.5, Arkach > Xiaomi > Honeywell, but the rooms of Akachi and Honeywell basically did not smell peculiar smell after the test, and there was still a little smoke in the room where the Xiaomi purifier was placed.
3. Formaldehyde removal test
Removing aldehyde should be the most worrying thing for every friend living in a new home, after all, the harm of formaldehyde is very large, and it will continue to be released for 3-15 years. In order to simulate the environment where formaldehyde seriously exceeds the standard when moving into a new house, and at the same time to evaluate the aldehyde removal ability of these three machines more rigorously, I specially bought formaldehyde solution and formaldehyde tester this time.
The test method is to pour the formaldehyde solution on a small cup, detect the initial value, and then use the detector to detect the →effect after 10 minutes → 20 minutes with a detector to see which machine has the best ability to remove formaldehyde.
Although it was a small drop, the value of the room was in a hazard state of 0.81, and I also wore a gas mask when I tested it.
Since the volatilization of formaldehyde solution is uncontrollable, the initial test concentration of several purifiers has certain differences:
Millet 0.81mg/m³, Arcach 0.88mg/m³, Honeywell 0.72mg/m³.
After 10 minutes of purifying the highest grade of the purifier turned on:
millet 0.24mg/m³, Arcach 0.17mg/m³, Honeywell 0.35mg/m³;
After 20 minutes of purification:
Millet 0.16mg/m³, Arcach 0.07mg/m³, Honeywell 0.16mg/m³
To sum up, Akachi's formaldehyde purification efficiency is the highest, followed by millet, and Honeywell's is slightly slower.
4. Wind speed test
Mijia's wind speed has 3 gears, the lowest gear is 0.4, the wind speed is very small, the highest gear is 4.5, open to the maximum gear actually feel that the wind speed is not large, plus the power of this machine is only 75W, for purification and sterilization will also be much reduced.
Akachi has 5 gears of wind speed can be adjusted, the lowest gear is 0.6, the highest gear is 7.8, the wind speed personal feeling is more obvious, open the maximum gear wind speed is the largest of these three, there is a relatively large wind speed blowing, but the noise will not be too large, wind speed and noise I think is more moderate.
Honeywell is a rotary control, no direct gear adjustment, here is divided into 3 gears to adjust, the lowest is 0.2, the highest gear is 7.2 wind speed, in the highest gear when this wind speed is relatively large, but the noise is the largest here, if the area square is relatively small house, it will feel more noisy.
5. Noise test
Mijia's wind speed 1-2 gear difference is not much, so the noise of 1-2 gear is not bad, the noise of 3rd gear is 61.6 decibels, it is relatively noisy, in the actual use process, open the maximum gear sitting in the room, you can feel the sound is turning.
Honeywell can see the icon above, I divided into three gears to test, the smallest is 43.22, the largest is 65.9, fast 66 decibels, when in use, the speed inside the machine is very large, when testing the wind speed above, it can be clear, its wind speed is large so the noise is relatively large, this depends on the trade-off, but the purification effect of this machine is lower than that of Arcach.
Akachi's noise test, the lowest gear is 40.1, the highest gear is 58.6, is the smallest of the three, in actual use, the internal operation of the machine is not loud, even if the highest gear is running, in daily life will not feel noisy, this is actually quite important, if the noise is too loud when running, it may eventually be idle because of this problem. Therefore, a low-decibel purifier is also very important, and the effect of the Arkach is best in this.
IV. Summary
Akachi Z02 has high purification efficiency, long filter life, and it is both an air purifier and an air disinfection machine, one machine can simultaneously remove bacteria, viruses, formaldehyde, odors, allergens and other pollutants, allowing us to breathe fresh and clean air. And it is small in size, low in noise, suitable for various scenes such as living room, study, bedroom, etc., and the sense of use is very good.
The purification and sterilization function of Mijia 4max is medium, which can achieve the basic sterilization effect, but the time to remove aldehyde is longer, and the single fan + power of 75w is lower, so the time for purification and dehyde removal is relatively long, the wind speed 1~3 gear effect is medium, the external unit is relatively heavy and long, if it needs to be lifted will be more laborious.
Honeywell's wind speed is the highest of these three, but at the same time the noise is also large, the filter is HEPA, the H13 filtration effect is good, the aldehyde removal technology is on the medium side, and there is also automatic decomposition technology, but the detail page does not give a specific CCM value, and the price of the machine has also gone to 3599, which is the most expensive of the three.
Overall use, I think Akachi is the most cost-effective of the three, integrating sterilization/aldehyde/dust removal and other functions, small shape and easy to move, very suitable for new house decoration families/mother and baby families/pet families with high air quality requirements.
