RICHARD MILLE has just launched a new set of creative creations – the "RM 07-01 Coloured Ceramics" ceramic case women's watch, inspired by the famous Italian postmodernist design group Memphis Milano in the 1980s, the dial design cleverly pays tribute to the free spirit of the postmodernist pioneers through the combination of color and geometric elements.
Still made of high-tech TZP ceramics, the new case is available in pink, blue and light purple and is specially paired with a contrasting calfskin strap that makes it easy to put on your hands.
"Memphis Design" emphasizes an open combination of color and geometry, both free to jump, light and rhythmic - the new dial combines geometric elements such as circles, rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, and fans in the form of building blocks, each of which is decorated with different colors and materials, such as inlaid with colored ceramics and rubber, hand-glazed gold carvings, set with diamonds, etc., each dial bursts with unique inspiration.
The mechanical operation of the CRMA2 self-winding calibre can be admired through the open dial, which is only 4.92mm thick, compact and highly integrated, with a variable geometry design of the rotor, a pendulum frequency of 28,800vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. The official price is $205,000.
