Google Bard prepares "memory" for a more personalized response

As the world of artificial intelligence continues to advance, Google seems to be working on a new feature for its chatbot to make it more adaptable.

According to 9to5Google, the company is working on bringing "Memory" to its artificial intelligence conversation software, Bard. In the new "Memory" page that comes with the feature, Google will allow users to add new preferences that AI must adhere to when answering questions or prompts.

An early glimpse revealed an introductory page that provided the following example preferences: "I try to avoid meat," "I have two children," and "Please give a shorter answer." These examples are very similar to those that users end up creating and can be applied to a variety of situations, including discovering good food, traveling, or looking for fun things to do on the weekend.

This new preference feature of Google Bard should eliminate the extra step of always having to constantly remind it of who you are or your situation. At this point, the company began to make its AI chatbot more personalized with Extensions.

Google announced two weeks ago that Bard can now seamlessly integrate with users' Gmail, Maps, YouTube, and more content in its app ecosystem. If enabled, questions you ask Bard may use your latest email or documentation in Drive to provide answers.

In addition, the company seems to have big plans for Bard and Google Assistant, as the company details that the two will be "deeply integrated" with each other in the future.
