In this year's college entrance examination, Xing Yifan was admitted to Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics with excellent results. He said his dream is to become "China's Hawking" and use knowledge to change the world.

"It's a flower, it always blooms once"

Not long ago, at the "I came to Beijing to go to university" 2021 disabled university freshman invitation and listening symposium held by the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the figure of a "little bit" attracted the attention of the guests present. He is Xing Yifan, a student representative at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Before enrolling, Beihang specially prepared a love dormitory for Xing Yifan's family, put daily necessities in advance, and coordinated the dormitory access control, electricity, electrical appliances and other issues to facilitate them to move in with their bags. The dormitory is located on the first floor, in order to facilitate parents to take care of Xing Yifan, the dormitory is equipped with two beds and separate bathrooms. "The school cares about us, asks us about our difficulties, helps me solve problems, and feels very warm." Xing Dacheng said.

Two months have passed since Xing Yifan's college life. The students still remember that on the first day of school, when the teacher called Out Xing Yifan's name, the small body emitted a loud "to". "I can't think of a reason to back off"

Xing Dacheng was always asked such a question: "With Yifan's physical condition, he almost uses all his strength to live, so why do you have to work so hard to study?" In order to let Xing Yifan attend an ordinary primary school, Xing Dacheng once wandered outside the door of a local primary school for a long time. "I didn't dare to go in and ask, for fear of being rejected and never having a chance again." Seeing that the enrollment was about to end, Xing Dacheng had to go in to find the principal with a hard scalp, but he did not expect that the principal would say three words after listening to the child's situation, "Accept, come on." ”

Xing Dacheng still remembers the mood at that time, "After coming back, I was really happy and overjoyed. Special thanks to her, she opened the first door on our way to school for us. ”

"Yifan met too many good teachers on his way to school." Originally, Xing Dacheng's original intention was only to allow his son to receive a normal education, but the teachers had higher requirements for Xing Yifan. More than one teacher told Xing Dacheng that Yifan was a good seedling and could not relax his requirements for physical reasons.

"Because of his soft hands, Yifan's writing was relatively sloppy, and the teacher at that time did not treat him differently because of his body, but was very strict." Xing Dacheng recalled that at that time, Yifan was not willing to write every word with all his strength. "It was hard and Tiring. At first I didn't understand why the teacher was so strict with him, but then I figured it out. Tomorrow and accidents do not know who comes first, can not because of fear of accidents to compromise, a step forward may be better, backward is foreseeable bad, why not go forward a step? ”

Not only the teachers, but also the students have always loved Xing Yifan very much, and together with their parents and teachers, they have given Xing Yifan comprehensive care and care. In junior high school, xing yifan's physical function decline was obvious. In the 45-minute class, Xing Yifan often needs to sit for a while and need to lie down and rest, but as long as he needs to write, the same table will help Yifan lift his arm up for the first time.

In this way, in the stable little world created for Xing Yifan by family and school, Xing Yifan enjoyed the fun of learning. In 2018, Xing Yifan gave everyone a big surprise, and he was admitted to the local key middle school Jilin No. 1 Middle School with the first place in the school.

The disease has been developing progressively, and as he ages, Xing Yifan's body gradually develops symptoms of multi-system involvement, including multiple joint contractures, spinal deformities, respiratory insufficiency, nutritional disorders, etc. In high school, his parents repeatedly advised him to transfer to a less competitive ordinary class, but he said: "I can enter the innovation class, I can read it, I can't think of a reason to back down." ”

With hands with only a little muscular strength left, he completed one test paper after another, once making more than 20 in a day, often at one or two o'clock in the morning, and tired enough to fall asleep every day. Before the college entrance examination, he fractured his bones because he turned over from sleep (fractures are very common for him), but after recovering, he still sprinted for the college entrance examination like other candidates, and finally got his expected results. "I just wanted to see where I could go, and I wanted to run forward." Xing Yifan said.

"We'll leave the rest"

For Xing Yifan, the most grateful person on the way to school is his parents. "Although I am physically limited, I have always lived in the arms of love."

From elementary school onwards, parents need to go back and forth between work and school many times, earning money to support their families while supporting their son's dreams. For more than ten years, the couple has not been able to rest well every day, even at night, they have to wake up once every two hours to turn over for their son. Xing Dacheng described life as charging forward every day, because even if it was a simple brushing, it would take him and his lover 20 minutes to help their son finish.

"Every day is a challenge, like a charge, and if we can get through it, we are victorious." Although the difficulties are one after another, the Xing Yifan family is still full of infinite hope for the future. "I believe the future will get better and better."

Children are the hearts and minds of parents, and even if there is only a glimmer of hope, they will do their best.
