In order to better protect and inherit the jasmine tea making technology and culture, Fuzhou has established a "domestic and foreign interaction, superior-subordinate linkage, expert technical support" of the Fuzhou jasmine planting and tea culture system protection mechanism.

At the same time, the jasmine base is protected by grade, two batches of jasmine planting grading protection bases are approved before and after, and protection signs and globally important agricultural cultural heritage signs are set up in the core protection areas. Today, Fuzhou has established 9 monitoring points, which has normalized the monitoring of the globally important agricultural cultural heritage of Fuzhou's jasmine and tea culture system.

Who is this year's "Tea King"? Every October, Fuzhou is full of jasmine fragrance, and the annual jasmine tea king competition is not only a skill "big competition" in the industry, but also a hot spot for Fuzhou citizens.

Since 2009, the city has held a Fuzhou Jasmine Tea King Competition every year, and every two years to hold a Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Traditional Craft Inheritance Master and Inheritor Competition to promote the transformation of skill inheritance from "active guidance" to "spontaneous participation". By the end of 2020, a total of 28 people have been awarded the honorary title of Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Traditional Craft Inheritance Master, and 13 of them have been recommended to be selected into the list of representative inheritors of national, provincial and municipal intangible cultural heritage.

In March 2015, the Flower Tea Working Group of the National Tea Standardization Technical Committee was established in Fuzhou. By 2019, Fuzhou has led the completion of a number of national and Fujian local standards such as jasmine tea processing technical specifications, jasmine tea brewing and tasting methods, and flower tea roasting green billet processing technical specifications.
