The output value of Jasmine Tea in Fuzhou strives to rise to 6 billion yuan next year

On the 20th, the reporter learned from the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee's "Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Protection Regulations" law enforcement inspection mobilization and deployment meeting that the municipal government will fully implement the "Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Protection Regulations", make good use of the policy of strengthening agriculture and benefiting farmers, and strive to increase the output value of Fuzhou jasmine tea to 6 billion yuan by 2022, and strive to take the lead in all types of tea in the province and set an example in the national jasmine tea industry.

According to statistics, from 2014 to 2020, the city has invested a total of 28.86 million yuan in financial funds to support the development of Fuzhou's jasmine tea industry from multiple angles and at multiple levels from the aspects of base construction, industrial support, brand building, and heritage protection. In recent years, the domestic and foreign influence of Fuzhou jasmine tea has been continuously improved.

Next, the city will pay close attention to formulating a jasmine planting plan, and strive to add 16,000 mu of jasmine planting area in the city during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Accelerate the construction of the jasmine theme park, relying on the Difeng River jasmine base, demonstrate the planting of more than 250 acres of jasmine flowers, and strive to create a shocking jasmine landscape, and build the Fuzhou Jasmine Tea Museum on this basis.
