Meiyu, recorded in Chinese historical books:
"Records of Initial Studies" quotes Emperor Liang Yuandi of the Southern Dynasty's "Summary": "Mei is ripe and rain is called plum rain". Tang Dynasty Liu Zongyuan's "Plum Rain": "Mei Shi welcomes the rain, and the vast is in late spring" and so on. In the Chinese calendar, there are records of the beginning and end of mildew rain: the beginning day is called "mold in", and the end day is called "mold out".
Ming Zhuo's "Five Miscellaneous Torches Tianbu I" recorded: "Every year in March and April in Jiangnan, the bitter mist and rain do not stop, and all things are moldy and rotten, commonly known as plum rain, and cover when the plum is green and yellow." From Xuhuai to the north, spring and summer are often dry, and at the turn of June and July, the rain does not stop, and things are moldy." Li Shizhen, an outstanding medical scientist of the Ming Dynasty, pointed out more clearly in the "Compendium of Materia Medica": "Plum rain or moldy rain, saying that its clothes and things, all black mold" and so on.

"Sanjiu owes the east wind, Huangmei has no heavy rain"
"There is a lot of snow in the moon, and the water is yellow plum"
"When all the peach blossom water is gone, it will be dry yellow plum" and so on
