"Over the Mountain Farmer" - Tang Gu Situation

The sound of Banqiao people crossing the spring, the sound of chickens chirping in the afternoon of the day.

Mo qi roasted tea smoke dark, but like to sunshine valley sky.

This is a six-sentence poem about visiting a mountain farmer. The poet paints and paints colors, from things and people, to express the labor scene of roasting tea and drying valleys in the mountain towns of Jiangnan, as well as the straightforward personality and simple feelings of mountain farmers. The style is clear, the rhythm is brisk, and it has a unique artistic charm.

Considering this poem, if it is classified according to Sikong Tu's "Poetry", it should belong to the natural product of "overlooking is, not taking the neighbors, the way is suitable, and the work is spring". The poet seems to inadvertently say a small thing in life, but it gives people a beautiful artistic enjoyment.

Consideration

Gu Quan's poems focus on content, and do not win with flowery words. Although he was deeply influenced by the Taoist idea of seeking immortality from birth, he also wrote many works of positive significance, expressing sympathy for the persecuted people at the bottom of society and expressing indignation at the irrational customs and systems. In terms of expression methods, he does not avoid slang, mixes with spoken language, and the syntax is intricately flowing. Huang Fuxiang wrote the preface to his poetry collection, saying that he was "partial to long songs and sentences,...... Very human".

Gu Quan's admiration for Taoist thought, as well as the feelings expressed in his poems for the people at the bottom of society, stem from the influence of his teacher, who was a legendary figure of the Tang Dynasty, Li Bi.

Li Bi definitely belonged to the legendary figures in the Tang Dynasty. Legend has it that his mother gave birth to him on the third anniversary of her pregnancy, and by the time she was born, her hair had grown to her forehead. When he was a child, Li Bi had a special function, his body was light and fluttering, and he could walk on paper screens and bamboo cages. A xiangshi saw it and said, "This is the immortals!" He was going back to heaven when he was fifteen. To say that it is good to hear is to "go to heaven", and to say that it is not good is to "seek death".

Li Bi

Li Bi's parents were reluctant to do so, and in the year when he was fifteen years old, they prepared several buckets of garlic juice, and once they smelled the strange fragrance and heard the music in the sky, they quickly poured garlic juice into the air and cursed. The angel was afraid of meat and meat talk, and could not fall, and Li Bi could not fly up. The "Battle of Li Bi" lasted for a year, and finally succeeded in keeping him on the ground. When Li Bi grew up, he became a Taoist priest on the one hand and a teacher for the emperor on the other. People looked at the emperor's royal car and said, "It is the emperor who is sitting in it wearing yellow clothes, and it is Li Bi who is wearing white clothes." Therefore, Li Bi is known as the "white-clothed prime minister".

How did Gu Quan and Li Bi meet? This also starts from the early experience of The Situation. Gu Guan,Zi Kui Weng (逋翁), was a native of Suzhou (present-day Suzhou, Jiangsu Province). In the second year of Emperor Suzong's reign (757 CE), Jinshi and Di were initially awarded the title of Judge of Jiangnan by the imperial court, but they have not been able to do so. During the reign of Emperor Dezong of Tang, the assistant government Liu Hun admired his talent and recommended him to Li Bi, who was then the prime minister, and was appointed secretary Lang, and finally entered the imperial court. Gu Quan admired Li Bi's talent and knowledge very much, so he worshiped Li Bi as a teacher and wholeheartedly wanted to follow the teacher to do a big career.

When Gu Quan was in the imperial court, he originally thought that Li Bi would promote himself, but he did not expect that it would be a long time before he became the writer of Wupin. There were very few Qilu in the shulang, and Li Bi taught Gu Guan Gu Qi Guidance Spell, which was able to skip meals for several days. Later, Li Bi finally soared, and Gu Quan was arrogant, and it was not pleasing to see anyone in the imperial court. He wrote a poem called "The Song of the Seagull":

Wanli flew as a guest bird, and Zeng MengDanfeng borrowed Zhike.

Once the phoenix went to the sycamore to die, full of irises Nair He!

The meaning of this poem is: I have traveled thousands of miles to the imperial court, and once had a foothold because of Li Bi's relationship. Now that Li Bi is dead, the rest are similar to owls. In this poem, "Stick a large piece", the hundred officials naturally want to find an opportunity to retaliate against him, and eventually he is demoted to Raozhou Sihu. Gu Quan is also a smart person, knowing that he has offended too many people, and his career has basically come to an end, so he left first and lived in seclusion to Maoshan Mountain, calling himself "Huayang Zhenyi".

Gu Quan came to Maoshan with his wife and son and became a Maoshan Taoist monk. The daily routine is basically to refine mercury into gold and kowtow to the Big Dipper at night. It is said that his body is getting lighter and lighter, and his spirit is getting stronger. At that time, people did not live long, so when Gu Guan was seventy years old, one of his sons died before him. The loss of his son in old age brought great pain to Gu Quan, and he mourned his son every day, or chanted a mantra to blame death or something. This year, he actually had another son and gave him a name called "Gu Feixiong". When Gu Feixiong was three years old and could speak, he said to him, "Actually, I am the son you died, and I can't bear to listen to your nagging thoughts in the underworld, plus the god of death is hurting my head when you chant the mantra, so he let me come back." Although this story is not completely true, it is true that Gu Guan's old age has a son, and it is recorded in the Biography of Tang Caizi:

When the first son dies in the twilight year, he mourns and mourns, and chants: "The old man lost his beloved son, and the sun wept into blood." The old man is seventy years old and does not make many times to say goodbye. "In the year of his life, he gave birth to another son, named Not Bear...

Gu Guan lived in seclusion in Maoshan Mountain

After Gu Feixiong became an adult, he went to Chang'an to take the imperial examination and passed the jinshi examination, and this year Gu Feixiong was about eighty-eight years old. Gu Feixiong happily returned home to find that his father was missing, he searched for a long time and did not find it, and then someone asked about his father's whereabouts, he simply said: "My father followed Li Bidang to the immortal." ”
