CCTV News: On June 11, local time, the 10th Entrepreneur Conference and the 8th Investment Seminar of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum were held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with more than 3,000 delegates from more than 20 countries participating. Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS) Gheit, Saudi Investment Minister Al-Falih and others attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote speeches.
Faisal said that this conference is an important platform for deepening the traditional friendship between Argentina and China, and will be committed to promoting the joint efforts of Arabia and China to build a common future for the well-being of the people and actively safeguard world peace and development.
Gate pointed out that China-Arab cooperation, led by the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative, has created valuable opportunities for the Arab region to attract technology and investment.
Al-Falih said that China is an important development partner of Arab countries, and the steadily increasing trade exchanges between Afghanistan and China have drawn a bright prospect for future investment cooperation between the two sides.
The China-Arab States Entrepreneurs Conference and Investment Seminar is an important institutional activity under the framework of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. Co-sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, it is held every two years alternately in China and Arab countries, and is committed to promoting the development of economic and trade relations between the two sides. With the theme of "China-Arab Cooperation, Create Prosperity", the two-day conference will focus on trade, finance, infrastructure, energy, green industry and other topics, with a view to building consensus and enhancing practical cooperation.

The China-Arab Entrepreneurs Conference has been held for ten sessions so far, and this conference is the largest and most attended among them. The 10th Entrepreneurs' Conference witnessed the rapid development of China-Arab economic and trade cooperation in the past two decades.
In 2005, when the first China-Arab Entrepreneurs Conference was held in Beijing, more than 500 entrepreneurs from China and Arab countries participated, and in the tenth congress, this number has risen to more than 3,000, and the topics of the conference have also expanded from China-Arab economic and trade cooperation to scientific and technological innovation, artificial intelligence and big data, renewable energy development, coordinated development of industrial and mining industries and supply chain security, showing that China-Arab economic relations have not only doubled in quantity, but also shown signs of qualitative leap.
It is worth mentioning that China and Arab countries signed more than 30 economic and investment cooperation agreements worth more than 70 billion yuan on the first day of this conference, fully demonstrating the great role of the first China-Arab States Summit held in December 2022 in promoting the economic and trade development of China and Arab countries.
