Changting: Nursing Science Week protects women and goes hand in hand to the future with health
A few days ago, the Changting County Liaison Group of Longyan Nursing Association, the Changting County Federation of Trade Unions, the nursing staff of Changting County Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Tingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine went to Nanping Community, Datong Town to carry out a series of themed science popularization activities of "Science Popularization to Promote Health, Hand in Hand to the Future-Protecting Women and Accompanying Health", to help the masses correctly understand various chronic diseases and female cancer-related knowledge, improve self-care awareness, and master health management and self-care methods.
During the activity, medical staff carried out propaganda and education on the prevention, health care and rehabilitation of common chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and coronary heart disease, patiently explained from diet and nutrition, reasonable matching, blood pressure control and blood sugar control, conveyed the correct concept of chronic disease management and health care to the masses, and distributed relevant brochures.
The gynecology nurses of the hospital explained the importance of breast cancer prevention and early screening of cervical cancer to the female masses through lectures, practical demonstrations and case analysis, so that the majority of women can learn and master some breast cancer and cervical cancer self-screening knowledge.
Through this activity, we will further promote the improvement of the scientific quality of the whole people and mobilize the whole society to participate in improving the health level of the people.
